Function description

As an Industrial Electrician / Installer, you will mainly work in the workshop and be responsible for assembling, connecting, and testing electrical installations within industrial systems.
Occasional on-site work is required for installation or service interventions. Your tasks include:

  • Assembling and wiring electrical installations on machines and process systems.
  • Connecting motors, pumps, sensors, actuators, and measuring equipment.
  • Building and wiring control cabinets and operator panels.
  • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, terminal plans, and cable lists.
  • Connecting and testing frequency drives, soft starters, and safety systems.
  • Performing electrical checks, testing, and basic fault analysis.
  • Working correctly according to electrical regulations, safety, and quality standards.
  • Cooperating with mechanics and welders on complete industrial installations.

Requirements

  • Experience as an industrial electrician or electrical installer.
  • Ability to work independently using electrical diagrams and technical documentation.
  • Good knowledge of industrial electricity, motor controls, and cabling.
  • Basic knowledge of automation or PLC systems is a plus.
  • Accurate, organised, and safety-minded way of working.
  • Experience in agricultural installations, water treatment, or the food industry is an asset.
