Function description
As an industrial mechanic, you will mainly work in the workshop and be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical installations and components.
Occasional on-site interventions may occur for specific installation or maintenance tasks. Your responsibilities include:
- Installing, assembling, and adjusting: pumps, decanters, mixers, centrifuges, screw presses, polymer units, biological water treatment installations
- Mechanical assembly of industrial installations and modules.
- Aligning, adjusting, and testing rotating and moving components.
- Performing repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, diagrams, and parts lists.
- Detecting and solving mechanical failures.
- Thinking along about technical improvements, efficiency, and sustainability.
- Applying safety and quality procedures correctly.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a mechanic in an industrial environment.
- Ability to work independently from drawing to finished installation.
- Strong mechanical knowledge (bearings, drives, couplings, gearboxes).
- Experience with pump systems, centrifugal systems, and process installations is a strong asset.
- Structured, accurate, and solution-oriented working style.
- Experience in agriculture, water treatment, or the food industry is a plus.
