Function description
As an all-round mechanic/technician, you are responsible for the maintenance and repair of rolling equipment. You work both in the workshop and on-site across different depots. Your responsibilities include:
- Performing technical diagnostics
- Carrying out periodic maintenance on trucks and forklifts
- Detecting and reporting defects and wear
- Inspecting mechanical and electronic components
- Dismantling, assembling, replacing, and repairing parts
- Reading fault codes and using diagnostic equipment
- Performing interventions across different locations in West Flanders
- Communicating with drivers and depot staff

Requirements
We are looking for a hands-on technical profile:
- Initial experience in maintenance/repair of trucks or forklifts
- Strong knowledge of mechanics, basic knowledge of hydraulics and electronics
- Experience with diagnostic tools
- Accurate, structured, and safety-focused
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Punctual, flexible, and stress-resistant
- Proactive mindset and sense of responsibility
- Driving license B required, C is a plus
- Hands-on mentality
