Function description
As a production manager evening and night shift, you are responsible for making sure your team works in the best way possible. With your energy, enthusiasm and communication skills, you make a difference during your shift by motivating, managing and supporting your team.
You focus on growth and development, both for the production environment and for the employees. You support the company policy and make sure your team follows the internal procedures. You are a natural leader and also a team player.
You also act as the right hand of the production manager or assistant plant manager and ensure a smooth handover with other team leaders and clear communication with the plant team.
Your tasks include:
- Monitoring the production process and adjusting when needed
- Checking hygiene and safety rules are respected
- Monitoring the correct and safe use of machines and materials
- Solving technical issues and contacting the technical department for complex problems
- Welcoming and guiding new employees and temporary workers
- Thinking about and supporting improvement actions

Requirements
- You are well organized, energetic and able to make decisions
- You think in solutions and can solve problems quickly
- You have at least 5 years of experience as a manager in a similar role in a production company
- You are a people manager with a coaching leadership style
- You can motivate people, both individually and in a team
- You are available preferably between 16:00 and 24:00 (flexible schedule possible in agreement)
- You have attention for detail and quality standards
- You speak fluently French
- You can work under pressure and handle ad hoc situations
