Function description

As a body repair technician, you are responsible for a wide range of tasks in the field of damage repair. You perform sheet metal work, work with straightening benches, and are skilled in replacing side panels and repairing damaged parts. You prepare vehicles for further finishing by carrying out assembly and disassembly work. Additionally, you use specialized techniques and tools, such as car spotter and adhesive systems, to efficiently repair damage. The painting work is done by dedicated painters, allowing you to focus entirely on repair and preparatory work. In this role, you work on a wide variety of vehicles, with damage severity ranging from light to complex. Using a tablet, you take photos of the damage and document each step taken to repair the vehicle. You then upload these photos into a system. There is no direct contact with customers; your focus is entirely on craftsmanship and precision.

Offer

The starting salary is approximately €18 per hour according to the scales, with growth potential after a permanent contract, depending on experience and performance. Additionally, you receive fringe benefits, such as eco vouchers. You work within a 38-hour system, with working hours from Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Friday until 3:00 pm.

Organisation

The company offers you a challenging position within a dynamic and fast-growing company that has tripled its turnover in the past three years. At this company, you have the opportunity to further develop yourself through professional training, for example, at BMW. You will become part of a team that focuses on quality, efficiency, and craftsmanship.

Requirements

For this position, we are looking for an experienced body repair technician who can work independently and with precision. Ideally, you have technical knowledge of straightening benches and welding techniques, such as working with a car spotter. Experience in damage repair and working in a professional body shop environment is essential. You are motivated, detail-oriented, and can perform under time pressure without compromising on quality. You speak English or French fluently to communicate with your colleagues, and you have a driver's license to commute to work. It is expected that you can repair at least five cars per week.
