Function description
As a rail crane operator, you operate a hydraulic wheeled crane Atlas 1604 for carrying out ground and excavation works on construction sites throughout Belgium. You are daily responsible for the machine you operate. It is useful if you have some knowledge to detect a fault yourself and perform basic repairs independently. You will, of course, receive the necessary training for this.
Offer
The company offers you an exciting job in a growing family business, where you are part of a great team with motivated colleagues. They provide a competitive salary based on knowledge and experience in the sector, eco-vouchers, health insurance, a permanent contract after a successful trial period, a company smartphone, adequate training to perform your role, and numerous training opportunities and growth prospects within the company.
Organisation
You will be joining a company that has been active in the electricity sector for decades. The company operates in various fields, such as general electrical works with VCA certification, lighting installations, railway technologies, and necessary solutions. They also provide services for outdoor work using rail cranes, crawler cranes, and mini excavators.
Requirements
Ideally, you have a driver's license for On-Track Machines (OTW) and experience in operating a crane. If you do not yet possess the OTW license for a rail crane, you are willing to undergo training for it. You work with precision and aim to work in a clean and safe manner, benefiting from having some technical knowledge. Working independently and being flexible in your work schedule, including night and weekend shifts, are qualities that define you. You take care of your crane, equipment, and tools, ensuring they are clean at the end of your shift. Possessing additional qualifications such as VCA-basic and certificates for operating machinery is always appreciated. As a team player, you contribute to finding solutions, and your input is always valued.
