As a CNC miller you will operate one or more CNC milling machines. You can convert the CNC machine in accordance with the work order and you maintain the machine(s). You ensure a timely and constant supply of raw materials and check the quality of the pieces. Finally, you are also responsible for the registration and documentation of production data.

Requirements

For this job it is necessary that you can read technical plans and that you can work with a caliper and other measuring devices. It is a big plus if you are in possession of a forklift truck certificate and know how to operate a crane and hoist. In addition, it is also an added value if you have knowledge of the operation of CNC machines. If necessary, you are prepared to follow internal training courses. You are physically strong and flexible. Working in an early or late shift is no problem for you. People describe you as collegial, accurate and quality-oriented. You can work in a team and you can handle machines and tools with care. You have an eye for order, tidiness and safety. For this job we are looking for someone who is a problem solver and has a sense of initiative.

As a CNC turner your focus is on turning mechanical parts within the metal sector (mainly gears). You analyze the plans to bring your work of the various pieces to a successful conclusion. You determine the necessary material (chisels and tools) and set up the machines. In addition, you are (limited) responsible for programming CNC controlled machines so that small series can be machined automatically.
