As a stitcher you are responsible for sewing 3 to 4 parts of a garment. Depending on your own expertise, you will be placed at a workstation. The other parts are then taught. This can range from making short sleeves, collars, backs, patching up cuffs, etc.
As a line operator of the fraying machine, you are responsible for efficiently operating and controlling the production process. You will work with state-of-the-art machines that process textile material into high-quality fibres. It is your job to ensure that the machine performs optimally, production runs continuously and the quality of the output meets the set standards. If the machine jams, carry out an initial check and rectify the problem if possible. For major repairs, an external repair service is called upon.
