As a furniture installer you will be responsible for finishing and delivering the end product to the customer. You will receive an assembly plan from the warehouse with the necessary materials and tools. You drive to the customer and deliver the finished product there. This is always tailor-made, so you need a good insight and can easily solve small problems.

As a mechanical engineer you build machines in the workshop based on the technical plans. After assembly, these machines are tested. As a CNC turner you are responsible for setting up or operating a 3 axis / 5 axis or 8 axis machine. You have to adjust a drill, fill out a log, work with a vernier caliper, etc.

As a CNC operator/programmer you will be responsible for manufacturing quality wooden furniture. You will be responsible for making complete interiors. This includes kitchens, offices, cabinets, tables,...You will primarily be responsible for processing furniture panels. This means that with the CNC machine you will drill holes, mitre corners and make slots in the wood.

As a CNC milling machine operator you are responsible for milling mechanical parts, mainly gears (drilling, milling, boring and tapping). You analyze the plans to bring your work of the various pieces to a successful conclusion. You determine the necessary material (chisels and tools) and set up the machines (5-axis milling machine, hard milling, ...).

Diksmuide

As a CNC miller you will operate one or more CNC milling machines. You can convert the CNC machine in accordance with the work order and you maintain the machine(s). You ensure a timely and constant supply of raw materials and check the quality of the pieces. Finally, you are also responsible for the registration and documentation of production data.
