Function description
As a Green Roof Gardener, you are responsible for the complete installation and finishing of green roofs on various construction sites. You work in teams of 2 to 3 colleagues. Your tasks include:
- Applying a waterproof base layer.
- Operating a tower crane to move pallets onto the roof.
- Spreading 25 kg gravel bags across the roof surface.
- Manually distributing materials over the roof.
- Installing irrigation channels and water drainage systems.
- Placing substrate layers.
- Planting vegetation on green roofs.
- Finishing works and quality control.
- Approximately 75% of the job is physically demanding work, and 25% consists of finishing and detailed tasks.
