Function description
As a steel fixer, you are responsible for manufacturing and installing reinforcement structures for concrete constructions. You work closely with colleagues on-site and help ensure an efficient production and installation process. You always start your day in Meulebeke. Your tasks include:
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Bending, cutting, and tying reinforcement bars according to required patterns
- Installing and connecting reinforcement structures on construction sites
- Ensuring correct positioning and fixing of reinforcement materials
- Following safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve production goals
