Function description
As a polyvalent worker in horticulture and groundworks, you combine machine operation with practical manual work. Your tasks include:
- Carrying out soil preparation in greenhouses with small tractors
- Preparing and levelling terrain
- Laying plastic sheeting for crops such as strawberries and courgettes
- Carrying out various tasks at horticultural companies and greenhouse growers
- Working with different machines and vehicles
- Assisting manually where needed
- Contributing to specialised tasks such as spraying greenhouses with a drone

Organisation
You will work for a family-owned horticultural contracting company in the Kortemark region. The team consists of 8 colleagues and works mainly on location at different horticultural companies and greenhouse growers. No two working days are the same.
Requirements
- You have EU nationality
- Valid G driving licence
- Motivated and willing to get your hands dirty
- Practical mindset and comfortable with physical work
- Flexible regarding working hours
- Responsible and reliable
- Willing to learn new tasks and operate different machines
- Experience in horticulture, agriculture, or groundworks is a plus but not required
- CE driving licence is a strong additional advantage
