Function description
As a BE driver, you are responsible for transporting and delivering fresh products according to a fixed schedule. You spend approximately 4 hours on the road during your daily route. The remaining working hours are spent at the Gentbrugge site. Your tasks include:
- Starting your working day early in Gentbrugge
- Loading the vehicle safely, correctly, and efficiently
- Driving a fixed route between different locations in East Flanders
- Delivering fresh products before the shops open
- Making sure every delivery arrives on time and in perfect condition
- Unloading the products at the different locations
- Keeping the vehicle clean and organised
- Helping with waste sorting
- Returning to Gentbrugge after completing your route
- Helping prepare the products and materials for the following day
- Supporting the team with additional tasks, including cleaning baking trays
Possible working schedules:
- 02:00 to 09:30
- 03:30 to 11:30
- Weekend work is part of the position.

Organisation
You will work for a growing and stable food production company in Gentbrugge where quality, craftsmanship, and teamwork are at the heart of the organisation. Every day, fresh products are prepared on site and delivered to different locations throughout East Flanders. As a driver, you play an important role in this process — your deliveries need to arrive safely, correctly, and on time so that everything is ready before the working day begins. You will work alongside experienced colleagues who will guide you during your training.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who is reliable, responsible, and not afraid to get involved.
- You have EU nationality
- Valid BE driving licence
- Comfortable with night and early-morning work
- Confident and responsible driver who respects traffic regulations
- Accurate and punctual with deliveries
- Organised and take pride in keeping things clean and tidy
- Able to work independently and take responsibility for your route
- Flexible and dynamic
- Don't mind combining driving with physical and practical work
- Willing to work weekends
- Positive, hands-on attitude
- Previous professional driving experience is a strong plus, but the right attitude, reliability, and motivation are just as important
