Function description

As a CE driver in general cargo transport, you transport diverse goods such as pallets, crates, and various other freight across Europe. Load securing is an essential and non-negotiable part of your daily work. Your tasks include:

  • Transporting general cargo across France, Spain, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium
  • Correctly securing and checking all loads before departure according to regulations
  • Carrying out loading and unloading activities
  • Coupling and decoupling chassis and tractor units
  • Checking the condition of the vehicle before departure
  • Reporting completed tasks and status updates to the planning team
  • A minimum of 2 overnight stays per week
  • Occasional Saturday start depending on routes and deliveries

Offer

Salary: min €15.45 per hour
  • Total salary based on the number of hours worked
  • ARAB premium of €1,8175/hour
  • Net overnight allowance of €47,9310/night in the truck
  • Travel allowance to your departure point

  • Example total salary: If you work 59 hours in one week and you don’t sleep in the truck, your weekly salary is approximately €875. The number of overnight stays varies each week depending on your planning, traffic conditions, and road circumstances.

Requirements

  • You have EU nationality
  • Valid CE driving licence, driver card, and Code 95
  • You speak French and/or English
  • At least 3 years of experience as a CE driver
  • Thorough knowledge of load securing regulations and techniques — this is a must
  • Experience with general cargo and diverse freight types
  • Knowledge of Belgian ports
  • Willing to work long hours and occasionally on Saturdays
  • Communicative and able to work efficiently with the planning team
  • Independent, flexible, and responsible
  • small ADR certificate required
