Function description
Not afraid to get your hands dirty? Do you like to tinker with machines, engines and their components? Then the vacancy as a mechanic in a day shift is something for you. As a mechanic, you will work together with your colleagues (mechanic & electrical engineer) within our processing department. Together you take care of the preventive and curative maintenance of the machinery with the aim of keeping the availability of the installations optimal. Depending on the schedule, you are responsible for the dismantling, overhaul and assembly of various components of the machinery. You also monitor the critical bearings (axes) and you know the difference between radial and axial forces. Carrying out lubrication is also one of your duties. In addition to mechanical problems, as a mechanic you are also able to identify and solve hydraulic and pneumatic problems. Knowledge of semi-automatic welding is certainly an added value, but not a must.

Requirements
You are working on an A2 diploma in mechanics / mechanical design techniques or equivalent due to your previous experiences and you have a good knowledge of English. You can work independently and also have a good attitude. Being in possession of a forklift truck certificate or aerial work platform certificate is certainly a plus, but not a must.
