Function description
As a welder/fitter, you are responsible for welding metal structures, both for smaller projects such as railings and pipes and for larger mechanical works. You perform these welding tasks as part of a team based on a plan and instructions from the foreman and project management. You proactively collaborate with the foreman and project manager to successfully complete the project. We expect you to prioritize quality and safety in all your tasks.
You will have a challenging role with responsibilities, and in addition to the salary, you will receive a mileage allowance and a company vehicle (for professional use only) with a fuel card. You will work a 38-hour week in day shifts.
You have a technical diploma or equivalent experience. You are strong in organization and pay attention to safety, order, and cleanliness. As a welder, you must be able to provide certificates. Holding a VCA certificate and forklift license is a plus. You are also physically fit.
