Function description
As a pipefitter, you install and weld industrial pipelines for both low and high pressure systems. You mainly work with stainless steel, but also with other materials like steel and galvanized steel. This is a technical and varied job at different locations, such as production companies and customer sites.
Your tasks:
- Read and understand technical plans
- Do assembly and welding work
- Prepare and install fittings and pipe connections
- Repair and adjust existing installations
- Check quality and write down measurements or test results
- Work together with colleagues and organise tasks on-site
