Function description
As a Pig Farm Worker, you help with the daily care of the animals and support every stage of the production cycle. After receiving on-the-job training, you will become involved in all activities on the farm. Your tasks include:
- Assisting with the insemination of sows
- Supporting the farrowing process
- Caring for newborn piglets, including teeth grinding and other necessary treatments
- Weaning and sorting piglets
- Transporting pigs to the finishing farm using the farm's own transport
- Monitoring the health and welfare of the animals
- Keeping the farm clean, safe, and well organized
- Working according to strict animal welfare and hygiene standards

Organisation
You will work for a modern sow farm where animal welfare, teamwork, and quality are key priorities. Every four weeks the work cycle changes, giving you plenty of variety and the opportunity to learn every aspect of the production process.
Requirements
- You have EU nationality
- Passion for working with animals
- Respect for animal welfare at all times
- Motivated to learn every aspect of pig farming
- Not afraid of physical work
- Good communication skills in English
- Driving licence B is required
- Reliable, responsible, and eager to learn
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
