The New Year is just around the corner! Soon we will be wishing each other a happy New Year. Before we celebrate, we look back on the past year with a certain sense of pride. Our COO Kirke Hillewaere and CEO Liselotte Rombaut share the highlights of 2021. Because what a crazy year that was!
Labour migration more important than ever
The step of attracting foreign employees as a company is more relevant than ever. The unemployment rate is low, there is a lot of work and vocational schools are emptying. "And we also notice this at Axintor Interim: the demand has never been as high as in 2021. For our team, it is an enormous challenge to be able to meet this demand. In order to provide a larger and faster influx, we also count on our foreign selection partners with whom we have been working for years. They know the culture, environment and language of the potential candidates and that creates trust with the candidate," says Kirke.
Big step forward
A new building, new team members and new selection partners in Latvia and Poland. "We have made a big step forward this year with Axintor Interim. This year we welcomed some big players we could only hope for in the past. For example, our client share has increased by 17% compared to 2020", says Liselotte proudly. "This growth is also made possible by our own marketing team. Through online and offline channels, we remain top of mind with our target audience. These efforts are clearly beginning to bear fruit."
New people, new offices
In January 2020, we moved into our new building in Veurne. We also opened a brand new office in Roeselare this year: at the Schiervelde site along the ring road. Our teams for the region Roeselare, region Bruges (Virginie and Kim) and region Kortrijk (Silas and Aleksandra) moved into the Roeselare building in September. Besides our office in Veurne (Kelly, Cornelia and Marta) and Roeselare, we also have an office in Ypres (Julie, Katarzyna).
We have also welcomed new people into our team recently. Roel also gained a new colleague, as Dominik exchanged his role as recruiter for that of coordinator. Together, Roel and Dominik take care of the welfare of our temps, as this support is our priority. This year, we have put extra effort into the welcome we give to our people, both our own employees and our temps. As a temporary employment agency, we try to make a difference.

2021 was an eventful, inspiring but above all challenging year. But 2022 will be even better! We refined our core values that give a clear identity to Axintor Interim.
